Zengo

When I started creating content for Zengo, they were opening their second location and had fewer than 500 total followers across their social media channels. Now, the cult cycling brand has 5 studios in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and has over 12,000 combined social media followers. I worked with Dani Mackey Communications to develop a media outreach plan to raise brand awareness and cement Zengo as DC’s premier spinning studio. I created promotional giveaways and was responsible for social media content. During our contract, we helped Zengo win Washington’s City Paper’s Best of D.C. award for Best Indoor Cycling Studio. Our efforts helped an independently-owned, boutique workout studio beat Soul Cycle. Classic underdog story. Except the rag-tag underdogs got wise and hired a great marketing team.
